INDEPENDENT FILMMAKING
Writer/Producer/Director Kevin J. Lindenmuth has steadily been making independent genre features for the past eighteen. After graduating with a degree in Film/Video Studies from the University of Michigan in 1987, he moved to New York City where he lived for thirteen years. Following his debut feature in 1991, the well-received VAMPIRES & OTHER STEREOTYPES, he has since produced eighteen features, the most notable being ADDICTED TO MURDER, which was among the first micro-budget movies EVER to be widely distributed through the Blockbuster Video chain in the mid 90's. This movie paved the way for wider distribution-and acceptance-of features produced directly for the home video market.
In 1997 he embarked on his first documentary, CARING FOR THE CAREGIVERS: LIVING WITH Cancer, which was distributed by Films for the Humanities, and has done four other documentaries which were broadcast on PBS (locally and nationally). These include the Multiple Sclerosis documentaries, "BUT YOU LOOK SO WELL…" (2001) and "BUT YOU STILL LOOK SO WELL…" (2005). SOLANUS CASEY: THE HEALING PROPHET, a profile on a psychic Capuchin Priest, was broadcast worldwide on EWTN in July of 2007. Lindenmuth is currently working on two new documentaries in 2008.

complex and intelligent and attempts challenging storytelling techniques." -
